Private hire
We have 2 rooms available for private hire each with their own sound system.
If you’re looking to accommodate smaller numbers then give us a call and we can reserve a seating area in the main bar room for you.
Or why not go the whole hog for that really special occasion and hire the whole boozer! … We’ve hosted record label parties and album launches which include live shows. If the circumstances are right we’ll consider it. .
Upstairs Bar and Acoustic room
We’ve recently re-vamped our upstairs bar and acoustic room, maintaining its original Victorian charm and adding a touch of glamour.
The space is ideal for a private party with its own bar serving bottled beers, wine, champagne and spirits. We’ve installed a nice sound system for playing CD’s or plugging in an Ipod … or you can DJ yourself with our twin CD mixer (Numark) and Stanton vinyl decks.
This space is also popular for acoustic gigs, comedy and poetry nights.
Basement Venue
Well known as London’s cosiest music venue, the cellar at The Betsey has seen gigs from the likes of Keane, The Magic Numbers, Editors, Guillemots and more recently The Hanging Stars and Bennett Wilson Poole .
Newly refurbished and kitted out with a tasty new PA rig, stage lighting and all the mics and cables you need, it could be the perfect place to put on your own one-off or even regular monthly or weekly gig night.
The cellar is also available for party hire and comes with CD mixer and vinyl decks if required. The capacity is for up to 60 people including 3 lovely arched alcoves with seating for about 8 people in each and extra tables and seating if required.
Photographic and Film Location
With all its various nooks and crannies The Betsey makes for a charming little photo shoot and video location. If you’re shooting a live pop promo or EPK we can offer full PA and sound engineering if required. Catering can also be arranged for your crew.
