John Hegley and Musical Mates, in aid of Hopscotch Women's Centre

Join us for a night of comedy, music and entertainment in aid of Hopscotch Women's Centre, headlined by celebrated poet, comedian, and musician John Hegley, joined by special musical guests.

Tickets here: www.eventbrite.co.uk

This event is supported by the friends of Ann Bibby, a dedicated family legal aid law solicitor who spent nearly 30 years helping families and survivors of domestic abuse. Despite severe cuts to Legal Aid in 2013, Ann remained committed to supporting vulnerable people, often at great personal sacrifice.

After Ann’s sudden death in 2020, her loved ones partnered with Hopscotch to establish a fund in her memory, continuing her fight for justice for all. Proceeds from this event will help fund a legal advisor at Hopscotch Women’s Centre, ensuring women facing abuse and disadvantage receive the legal support they need - just as Ann would have wanted.

About Hopscotch Women's Centre

Hopscotch is a charity based in London, which supports women facing abuse, poverty and isolation. They provide vital support and advocacy services for those most at risk.

Many of the women who flee violence and seek support from Hopscotch are in need of legal support to ensure they and their children are safe and protected in the long-term. Due to high rates of poverty, this is a service that they cannot afford. All funds raised from this event will go towards hiring an in-house legal advisor, who can offer free legal support to those who need it most.
