This band bursts fresh out of the box with an enviable musical pedigree. Brothers Robin and Joe Bennett, formally of GOLDRUSH and DANNY & THE CHAMPIONS OF THE WORLD are joined by Loz Colbert of RIDE on drums, making them something of an Oxford supergroup. Their music fuses the warmth and energy of west-coast America with the spirit and heritage of their beloved home town. This concoction has produced a breakout single "Everything All The Time" - produced by Supergrass producer Sam Williams - which has you hooked from the first chord, taking in the heady vibe of Laurel Canyon via the harmonies of the Everlys, whilst giving a respectful nod to Tom Petty all the while.
A great live version of The Big Star classic "Ballad of El Goodo" recorded by Robin and Joe of The Dreaming Spires with Ken Stringfellow (The Posies/Big Star), back when they were on the road with their band Goldrush in Münster, Germany.
Psychedelic-Country-indiepopsters influenced by the likes of the West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band, Big Star and Gram Parsons, featuring members of C86 era janglers 14 Iced Bears.

MONTHLY RESIDENCY FOR HACKNEY'S FINEST BLUEGRASS TINTED FOLKSTERS.
You might have caught them at their Sunday morning busking spot on Columbia Road ... well you can catch them here in the intimacy of our acoustic room the last Wednesday of the month too... "... gentle harmony-led songs call to mind early Simon & Garfunkel and even The Everly Brothers. Faulkner's superb harp playing conjures images of freight train-hopping Americana but the unadorned, strictly English-and-so-what vocal delivery sets them apart from the crowd and adds to the charm ... impossible to dislike." - Gerry Ranson, Rock n Reel, Sept/Oct '09 8:30 UPSTAIRS
"Easy-flowing harmonies and melodies swim along like early Jayhawks, the lyrics smiling in the face of life and love's travails". Andy Fyfe, Q Magazine, Nov '09
